CÁC LOẠI THÙNG UN THÔNG DỤNG (UN CERTIFIED BOX)

Thùng UN (UN tested box hay UN certified box) là thùng được UN chấp nhận để đóng gói hàng DG.
Thùng này có chữ UN trong vòng tròn màu đen (UN symbol).
Thùng UN có thể là carton, gỗ, nhựa, kim loại, ...

Một số loại thùng UN thông dụng như sau :

1/ Fibreboard box (Thùng carton)

2/ Plywood box (Thùng gỗ dán)

3/ Platics jerrican (Can nhựa hình chữ nhật)

Thùng bằng nhựa có thời hạn sử dụng 5 năm từ khi sản xuất, do vậy loại này có khi tháng, năm sản xuất.

5.0.2.15 Plastic Drums, Jerricans and Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)

For plastic drums and jerricans and rigid plastic IBC and composite IBC with plastic inner receptacles,

unless otherwise approved by the appropriate national authority, the period of use permitted for the

transport of dangerous goods must be not more than five years from the date of manufacture of the receptacles,

except where a shorter period of use is prescribed because of the nature of the substance to be transported.
